| Overview: In the year 2005, the leading manufacturer of outdoor drinking fountains and water hydrants merged with the leading manufacturer of pre-engineered parks & recreation buildings and outdoor bicycle security lockers to form Murdock-Super Secur. Murdock has been operating since 1853 and Super Secur has been operating since 1962. Together they are poised to become the leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of all traditional drinking fountains, contemporary drinking fountains, water hydrants, parks and recreations buildings, restroom fixtures & accessories and outdoor bicycle security lockers. For over one hundred fifty years Murdock, Inc. has been the benchmark in both the drinking fountain and water hydrant industries. As early as 1853, while most people were drawing water from common wells, the Murdock company was manufacturing and installing water delivery systems throughout the country. Our 1776 Old Style drinking fountain and our M75 hydrant were two of our original designs and we still manufacture both of these items. Many of our products made over a century ago can still be serviced with original parts and we welcome inquiries regarding the rebuilding of existing fountains or hydrants to their original condition. |
