| Introduction: Registered landscape architect Daniel G. Zwier founded Permaloc in 1983. While practicing Landscape Architecture, Dan discovered that numerous edging and restraint products were not specifically designed for the applications they were being required to perform. Our goal was to design a complete system of engineered landscape edging and restraints that ensured designers and project owners that the design integrity and resulting aesthetics would be retained over the lifetime of the project. To achieve this, experience taught us that our products needed to be high quality, durable, lightweight, readily available, easy to install and cost effective. Where materials and edges meet are the most environmentally demanding and aesthetically critical aspect of any landscape. Specifiers and installers continued to bring new and challenging applications. Permaloc views today's challenges as tomorrow?s opportunities as we continue to design products to exceed industry expectations. Permaloc has continued to grow in both size and reputation. We are internationally known for our high quality products, ease of installation, and outstanding customer service. Our products are installed in some of the most prestigious landscapes in the world including the Getty Museum, National Gallery of Art, and the U.S Arboretum. Today Permaloc is recognized as being the world leader in manufacturing and delivery of application driven, performance based, landscape edging and restraint systems. Permaloc offers nine product lines representing over 100 product variations. We are proud that Permaloc's products bring an increased level of aesthetics and visual relief to the landscape participant. If in the process, we raise the human spirit in some small way, we have positively contributed to the human experience. That is the larger goal which Permaloc's people and products will continue to strive and achieve. |
