Using Baseline’s biSensor™ soil moisture sensors, you can create healthier landscapes and save time, money, and water in the process. Baseline’s biSensor soil moisture sensors use patented technology to water better than any other technology on the market and biSensors save money because they reduce water usage—up to 62 percent or more over traditional irrigation methods. They automatically self-adjust with the season, which means fewer trips to the field to adjust your irrigation controllers. Simply put, you’ll love the results in your landscape and the savings of time, water, and money.

SOIL MOISTURE
SENSORS
Irrometer Company, Inc.

In use since 1978, the patented WATERMARK sensor, from Irrometer Company, Inc., is a solid state electrical resistance sensing device that is used to measure soil water tension. As the tension changes with water content the resistance changes as well. That resistance can be measured using the WATERMARK Sensor.

The IRROMETER Company has been in business since 1951, manufacturing soil moisture measuring, controlling, and sampling instruments used worldwide for scheduling irrigation. The WaterSwitch works as an add-on device for existing valves or controllers to improve irrigation efficiency based on plant demand. The module will prevent irrigation cycles by signaling the controller’s sensor circuit or interrupting the solenoid power, when the soil moisture status is wetter than the adjustable set point. The kit includes one moisture sensor and has nine moisture set points allowing for a wide range of variation in plant and soil type. An indicator light flashes to show status.
